The opening verses of Psalm 90 and Psalm 91 make an interesting combination, telling us much about who God is and our relationship with Him...
Psalm 90
1 Lord, through all the generations
you have been our home!
2 Before the mountains were born,
before you gave birth to the earth and the world,
from beginning to end, you are God.
Psalm 91
1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.
When considering God through the eyes of the Psalmists, trust in God is not a sign of weakness, but rather a sign that you know where your home is! Who would live in the wilderness when the Creator, the Most High, the Almighty has a place for you?
This week we explore further why we should trust God, through the covenants he makes and the Saviour he sent. Please join us as we worship. Kevin will then introduce the talk by David Pawson.
