Sunday Service - 26th April 2020

Writer: Pete JenningsPete Jennings

Sometimes it is good to remind ourselves what good news it is to have Jesus. He is an infallible teacher, a gentle healer, our friend, our Lord, our Creator and Saviour. The apostles dedicated their lives to telling people about him. Song writers have set his life-changing gospel to music. And we try to continue this good work any way we can, teaching and encouraging each other, worshipping God and giving thanks.

Some Verses from Psalm 107

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good!

His faithful love endures forever.

Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out!

Tell others he has redeemed you from your enemies.

Let them praise the Lord for his great love

and for the wonderful things he has done for them.

For he satisfies the thirsty

and fills the hungry with good things.

Talk - 'The Truth About the Good News' from Pete

There are many different ways to teach the gospel, some simple, some mind blowing. Paul's approach in Acts and throughout his letters is sometimes gentle, sometimes brutal, but always truthful.
