This is the day it all begins. The tomb is empty. The initial shock turns to hope. Hope turns to belief, as Jesus appears before the disciples. It is so incredible, so unbelievable that they doubt the evidence of their own eyes for a moment. And yet there Jesus is, alive and standing right in front of them.
If you were there... what would you think first? Would you hug your friend? Would you remember everything he told you? Would you fall down on your knees and weep for joy? Would you be desperate to know more? Would you finally get who he really is and what he came to do?
Christ is risen. And it changes everything. Not just for the disciples. Not just for the Jews. For everyone. For you and me. He rose again, so we can be born again.

Reading by Lorraine and Easter Message by Kevin
"I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die." When their brother is dying, Mary and Martha reach out to Jesus in faith and he answers emphatically.

Celebration and Worship
Today we celebrate with songs. Tomorrow we celebrate with lives that are changed. I pray that with these songs we can join together in expressing praise and worship to our Eternal King. May tomorrow bring fresh opportunities to praise Him and spread the good news of Jesus resurrection.

A Final Prayer from Romans 15:13
I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
